Yes, it appears that it is in fact Vegas Movie Studio DVD 8 that is shipping, and not a full upgrade. Please return to your regular programming.

Well, Vegas Studio 8 IS a full upgrade to Vegas 7. It's just not an upgrade to the full version of Vegas 7 ... if you see the distinction.
