Yes, and No. You can currently use the generic controler with the Yamaha boards, and it will be able to control the faders, pans, etc. in Vegas. The problem is that the generic controler has some issues with the Yamaha boards, and seems to forget the fader position and then you need to cycle the Yamaha fader through it's entire range, where the Vegas Fader will jump to it's extreme max/min position and then start working again. Sony is aware of the problem and is investigating the problem with Yamaha, and hopefully some improvements will be made to the generic driver, so that it works properly in the next update.
