There is a new plugin for Vegas (as well as other NLE) call NewBlue FX. I was part of their beta testing program and was really impressed with their stuff. I didn't get a chance to use many of the audio filters, but have been using the video fx quite a bit. I've used the motion filters, called "Motion Effects" (camera shake & motion blur, zoom blur, foreground blur) for creating moving titles and motion graphics. The "Art Effects" has stuff like line drawing, airbrush, and dream glow. I used the line drawing effect in a video I'm working on now and people have been asking me if I scanned a real drawing or was it actually an effect. Anyway, I much prefer New Blue's blurs and glows over Sony's built in stuff and it's always cool to get some new plugins for Vegas.
