Yellow lines on video

I don't know whether this is a software or hardware issue, but some of my scenes show yellow/greenish wavy lines on some portions of the screen. Also, some of the colors at spots seem to be a little greenish or yellowish. I've tried multiple effects in Vegas to resolve it but they all seem to reduce the overall video colors too much. I'm using Vegas 6.0 and a Sony TRV280. The problem seems to occur regardless of the tape I use. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Good question. They appear a little on my Dell notebook PC screen while I'm in Vegas but seem to appear more on TV screens. They don't seem to appear on the camera screen although it is smaller.

It's odd. The thin wavy lines that appear yellow/greenish seem to appear in the same place regardless of the scene although some scenes don't have it and it may have to do with the light intensity or the color.

Then again, small areas that are bright from shiny relections can also have greenish/yellow tints.
