Yet another "what if.." Vegas 11

Of the people having problems running Vegas 11, how many are also running an anitivirus? Which one?

I am running Avast on one computer and none on the other. Vegas 11- 521 runs fine on both computers. and these are not screaming computers, a P4 3ghz and a Core 2 Duo 3 ghz. Win7 Home

I have reproduced complaints that others have had with Vegas Pro 11. Editing in 9 and 10 and rendering in 11 on my workstation with no virus programs loaded. I've done a couple ticky-tacky projects in 11 on my laptop with no bugs. It has Microsoft Security Essentials running.

I have run Security Essentials from the get go and have had minimal problems for several years. My theory from the beginning was if anyone knows how to tie in to the Windows API, it should be Microsoft. I have not been disappointed.

But then, I'm careful about what I download, avoid porn and game sites and never open mail I don't know about.

had keyframes and footage replacing problems with earlier versions,
but 521 is working fine so far for me.
