I've been very impressed with some of the short films Kevin James has been doing. For me, what it shows is that you don't need a big budget or special effects to make a compelling short film. You just need an idea worth sharing, and then taking the time to do a good job across the board. Certainly, a program like Vegas is more than capable of helping you get there.
