Hi there,
I've just as an hour ago had you tube deny uploading of a file I rendered. I have uploaded to youtube successfully before. The thing with those past files is that I did not set the project quality at the "best" setting when I started the project. So the files that you tube took look really blocky and are at like 240p ( can't remember if it's 'I" or "p"). My latest project I tried maxing out the quality all around, by setting "best"...or "highest" at the beginning of the project and by selecting "high" or best when getting ready to upload to you tube. The files render just fine. I've tried uploading via "make movie" as I'm new to VMS (9) and have little or no idea what I'm doing....and that has worked until this latest project. VMS suggested (or maybe it was youtube) that I upload directly from my internet browser instead of doing it via VMS and I tried that. But, you tube took the file and took several minutes saying that it was processing it but, I got an error message that said: "Failed (unable to convert video file)." I've tried this twice within 2 hours and one of the error messages shows the .vf file extension and the other doesn't. . I also got an error message doing it via VMS that said "invalid character". If any of this sounds familiar or rings a bell, I'd very much appreciate any help you could render. Again, I am brand spanking new to VMS and any highly detailed explanations would need to be spoon fed to me. lol...sorry. I've also looked here on the forums via "search" under "youtube....problems...uploads...issues...etc." and cannot find any postings that seem to address my issue. A lot of the postings seem to be about VMS 10 but, again I'm running 9. Thanks in advance for any help.
