YouTube rendering of SD Widescreen

Hi

I have some SD AVI WS files I want to put on YT.

I use the Sony AVC render setting with Internet HD 16:9 preset and want to change the custom framesize. I am a bid unsure what the correct framesize would be here. Thanks.

Best thing you can do for Youtube at present is 1280x720 at 1:1 PAR.

A. Grandt's tests have amply demonstrated that 1080 uploads to Youtube are effectively reduced to 540 in processing. i just checked this again last week.

Since it's SD, perhaps 854x480 progressive with a PAR of 1.0 might be more appropriate.

Ok - I now tried both and they are here:

854 x 480:

1280 x 720:

I only get 360p on the first one and not 480p as my uploadfile?

I think the 720p file looks the best, but might be some setting on the first one I have to make?

You have 480 on the first one -- you just have to be patient.
