Zoom H6 Multi Track Audio Preview Grayed Out

I have a Zoom H6 recorder used in Multitrack mode.

The multi-track driver is installed from the Zoom website.

In Vegas Preferences, I selected Audio device type as "Zoom H&F Series Multi Asio".

Then I connected my microphone to the XLR input on Zoom H6.

When I arm track I can record sound and monitor it.

But the sound is only played back through Zoom's H6 internal speaker.

I want to avoid this and playback recorded clips (& everything else!) via headphones.

There is no option to choose the default playback device -

I know that it is possible to install ASIO4ALL, but I want to avoid this step...

Maybe anyone knows how to fix this?

Well, I figured out how to do this.

It would be handy for everyone making a voiceover narration.

All I had to do was to install Voicemeeter Banana and route my ASIO driver of Zoom H6 into its input.

After that, I chose the correct audio devices in Vegas preferences and armed the right bus on audio track.

Here are the exact settings I was using:

And this tutorial explains everything:

Now I'm able to record voiceover with Zoom H6 Multitrack input and listen to the timeline sound in my headphones or speakers.
