Zoom in and out / playhead follow

Hello

(Vegas 15 pro, Windows 10 pro)

1) The manual says: "Click + to zoom in horizontally, or click - to zoom out." This is all good, but can you assign a keycommand(s) to this feature?

2) Normally the timeline focuses so that you can always see the scrolling of the playhead when in the play mode. However, when zooming in horizontally while Vegas in is the play mode you might not see the playhead anymore as it is scrolling outside the screen. Is there a keycommand to return the focus to the playhead?

I come from DAW background (Cubase) and these two features are something I miss everytime I work with Vegas. In Cubase you can zoom in and out vertically with G & H, and tell the program to follow or unfollow the playhead with F (which is called "autoscroll" in Cubase)

Thanks!

You can use your MOUSE wheel to zoom horizontally as well. when you use the mouse wheel it will center the playhead. If you have a Contour Shuttle you can program it to zoom as well with one button.

For 2):

The comma key at the numeric keypad should be the solution.

Thanks david-tu, mouse wheel works! Max8, comma seems to place the playhead at the beginning of the project unfortunately, at least in my keyboard.

Also, SHIFT + Mouse-wheel scrolls the timeline sideways.

From memory (so I may be mis-remembering) the backslash key (above 'enter', "\") is "center view on playhead".
