zoom tool / scroll problems

Hello, new here & need help. I tried the trial version of Movie Studio Plat.- it worked fine so I purchased the downloadable version, uninstalled the trial & installed a fresh copy.

The zoom edit tool appears in the top menu bar but doesn't appear next to the scroll bar ( right side/ bottom, I think it was next to the time code box. The 2 to the right are blank. The + - are missing so I can't zoom the tracks vertically or horizontally. It also lost the proper scrolling functions.

I uninstalled it & tried reinstalling the trial but that wouldn't work
( CRC conflict or something), I reinstalled my purchased version again but still those elements are gone..

Any help would be appreciated & thanks.

Under Options / Preferences, try disabling Windows Theme Support. This is a bit flakey and can cause various UI elements to disappear, most notably the scroll bars.

Talk about jumping in late...only 5 months later, but I can also confirm this works for SF9, Acid 6, and Vegas Pro.
