The "Titles & Text" doesn't work anymore. They are not animated after I installed build 244.

No problem here. Can you give us some more details, and perhaps share a .veg project file.

I made this , so you can see how it goes. My previous build was 211 ( I think). Now it is 244.

That is strange indeed. I'm on build 244 and I still have about 20 animation options in that drop-down menu.

You could try resetting Vegas to default settings. Bear in mind that you will, of course, lose any custom preferences and settings by doing this.

If that fails then please submit a support request at https://support2.magix.com/customer/en/vegas/form , including as much detailed information about the problem as you can.

Can other users please confirm if they still have the animation options with build 244?

Nick, are you asking to confirm if this is a local system error for our chum?

Its my impression that this build is requiring further BETA testing, and for whatever reason there maybe local issues, it's not fireproof enough for me to install, and thence not to do "suck 'n see" testing.

Tried to reset, but it did not change anything.

I'm sending Magix a ticket.

I'm asking very specifically if others have lost the animation options in "Titles & Text" in build 244, like vegardbell has (he only sees "None"), so we can see how widespread the error is. Anyway, assuming Cornico & Quitter's posts mean that they still have the animation options like I do, it's starting to look like something specific to vegardbell's setup.

That should focus our chum's attention.

Works fine here.

That's a positive. 25 animation options + None. Win-7.

Just tried a re-install. Same problem. I have the suite package. Could it be because of that??

Going to buy a new harddrive soon, and considering doing a fresh win 10 install, just to clean up a lot of mess and old files. Maybe it also fixes this?

What's weird is that it worked fine on the previous build.

Could someone please tell me when approximately I can expect the corrected version of 244 to be made available? When first acknowledged the failure to have a working Save As function was explained as a mere oops moment and that it will be corrected the following morning which feels like weeks ago even though it was just days ago but still, aren't we owed an explanation by now?

Here is the same issue, no animation on Titles & Text and no Text on ProType Titler.

Here is the same issue,

Probably it is a Microsoft .NET Framework problem due to the last Windows update.
Did you had a Windows Update and did you try to roll it back?

matthias-krutz schrieb am 08.04.2017 um 20:44 Uhr

The last .NET Framework update 4.6.1 was on 2/16/2017. The problems appear not before the change from build 211 to 244.

I did not ask if you had a Microsoft .NET update, I was asking if there was a Windows update.

Look here. Windows update caused it. Somewhat the same problem.

matthias-krutz schrieb am 09.04.2017 um 00:02 Uhr

Hi Cornico,

I rolled back the last Windows update and re-installed Vegas. The result is the same. Title&Text in MovieStudio 12.0 works fine.

I'm starting to get really tired of all the crashes and bugs in Vegas. Have used it since version 8, and it was stable on some versions, but in version 13 and 14, it crashes multiple times in each session. Have to save all the time, in case it crashes. The reason I love Vegas, is because it's simplicity (and it's quite powerful).

Considering switching to Adobe Premiere (and maybe After Effects) if the bugs aren't sorted out within summer. I'm sorry Magix, but this is how it is.

hi Jam_One,

I removed .NET Framework 4.6.1 an installed the latest 4.6.2. That is the solution of both problems for me. "Titles & Text" and "ProType Titler" are working properly. Thank you.

Cornico schrieb am 09.04.2017 um 21:25 Uhr

vegardbell,

no need for "switching to Adobe Premiere (and maybe After Effects) if the bugs aren't sorted out within summer. I'm sorry Magix, but this is how it is" anymore?
The best methode for curing problems is to look first of all to yourself and when you are sure to have everything in place, look for curing a fault to others.
