  I hope some Vegas developers will find this post. Because the issue File I/O surrogate (not visible) it is a known one. At least for older version of Vegas. But no older tip will fix it this time. 😒

  No luck. There is no "File I/O manager" listed in my Task Manager. In the Movie Studio tab I do have "File I/O surrogate (not visible) 32 bit" listed. If I end that, nothing changes and the start up screen still says "Creating file I/O manager" .
