RE: How to make edits in Multicamera shoot?
My method is similar to Authors. The thing I do to split all events and audio on all tracks at the same time is select and group every event on the time line. This allows me to split every event on all tracks at the same time. After I'm done

The project I was trying to render only has simple standard crossfade transitions and occasional overlay titles. That is it. 2 video tracks, 1 audio track. Source video is mp4 content from a Sony camera. I have been using this setup for nearly a

Btw, I used to automate cgp by applying it directly to the camera footage events and then splitting the event with a crossfade back on itself. Until I discovered that crossfading adjust events is much quicker rendering and previewing. Also works

I think the confusion is that tracks can also be grouped. The track "ungroup" option would only be available if you had previously grouped the tracks together. That is useful if you want to organize a section of tracks that are for a certain purpose
