RE: Vegas Pro 20 (Build 411) - Issue With Track Motion
@MH7 This is what I get with VP21 This is what I get with VP20 Notice the inverted chevrons on the track header. Are you seeing these? This signifies track motion has been applied.

RE: GH6 5,7K to UHD
Set your project settings to UHD resolution, 3840x2160, import your 5.7 k footage into the project, then use either event pan crop or track motion to scale the clip up so that there are no longer black bars in the image and it fills the 16:9 frame.

Insert Track Motion Points at Exact Time Separation
Greetings, I have been doing this manually for years and it occurs to me that there may be away to do it with scripting of some kind that would be very useful and save a lot of time. In my example screen shot you can see some track motion points.

RE: [BUG] Slow motion FX artifacts with GPU acceleration turned on
How did you do the slow motion exactly? One other idea is to use a velocity envelope, slow your footage to some amount and then in project properties (edit: or just on the event using an "event switch") have resample set to "optical flow." If that

RE: Feature Request (Extract and process frames from a motion JPEG image)
@MikeS What do you know. I used VEDIT to copy everything following MotionPhoto_Data and saving file with .mp4 extension. Like you said, that would be easy to code. In Windows 11, just double-clicking on the jpg file opens it up in Photo as a motion

RE: I created a Vegas GPT assistant
Very interesting. Perhaps this can serve to help guide development of such features officially. It definitely works better than any manual ever could, as you don't have to dig for the info you want, and you can ask for it to go more in-depth with

RE: Vegas rendering fast on the laptop but very slow on better desktop
Thanks for doing the benchmark- it helps diagnose what is going on. I suggest keeping it on your system and you can test new versions of VEGAS and new drivers, etc. to see if everything is working as expected. With VEGAS Pro text and motion for some

RE: When to "resample"?
Been using VP forever and believe I understand when to resample and when not to, but to be sure, in the following "use case" is it best to resample? I have a 29.97 clip on 29.97 timeline in 29.97 project and will render to 29.97. The video clip is

@mrflenty It pains me to tell you that the 10,000 pound elephant in the room is not your excellent encoding settings in either OBS or Vegas, but in the quality ceiling that is imposed by Youtube's upload servers, where the delivery bitrate, and thus

RE: Picture In Picture
@3POINT Hi, adding some Track Motion is the only way I can make this happen, but adding PinP to the preview affects everything & there's no keyframe gap below his top track to indicate Track Motion has changed, (your second pic is tiny)

RE: Motion tracking modes
This isn't for 3D text effects, but it'll get you started. You can use 3D track motion composite mode, along with track motion, to tilt the text upwards, that should do what you're after.

RE: The Issue with the Adjustment Event
@Mobby Hi, no is the simple answer, adding Picture in Picture to the Adjustment event does a similar thing to what you're doing with Pan/Crop in your pics, you'll have to use the Parent - Track Motion to achieve the "edit and animate the text"

RE: Is it possible to remove fly from the video?
Upgrading to VEGAS 21 gives you a totally new masking tool, Bezier masking, which you may find better for this task. It also comes with a basic version of mocha which you can use to make motion tracked masks.

I add the "Border" fx, then I use Track Motion to reduce the image to fit the frame.

RE: video is blocky/choppy
If you want 24p, you should film in 24p. When filming in 24p, shuttertime becomes very important to get natural motion blur, the so called 180 degree rule. If not obeying this rule 24p will still not look cinematic and panning still jittery. To obey

RE: Isolating ONLY Teeth (For Whitening) With Color Corrector (Secondary)?
It's better to use the HSL curves in the color grading panel combined with an animated mask around your mouth (can just be a square around your mouth that tracks where your mouth is as it moves around). You can motion track your mouth, then use the
