  While this is the wrong forum for Sound Forge, I can tell you that error 14 indicates that you are using a serial number for a different product. Are you trying to use your VEGAS Pro serial number instead of the Sound Forge serial number?

  @iEmby In the little bit of testing I've done it seems to play fine when scrubbing and playing across edits, there does seem to be a bug though, the audio track needs to be progressed 14frames to for sync, there are 14 frames of audio missing.
