RE: My Vegas 12 became rock stable - here's what I did
It doesn't actually crash, it just stops loading partway through Yup - precisely that issue is one that I have seen here for Vegas 12 too - right after the message "initializing VST.. something" or at the end of start-up - just before it should

Cause of Crashes Identified
I'm writing this post to alert the developers to a bug I've found that's made Vegas Pro 12 near unusable for me in the workplace. A little preamble: I've tried everything from re-installing the software, to disabling GPU acceleration. The issue

Praise for version 12
I hesitated to upgrade to Vegas Pro 12 because of how often version 11 would crash. I didn't want to spend the $$'s and then be disappointed. Version 11 would crash VERY often especially when using New Blue text. It's been one week and I've been

Vegas: never again
I still remember when I enjoyed editing in Vegas between 2007 and 2010. It was innovative and original software, way better than FCP or anything else. But with each subsequent release it became more unstable, to the point where now it has turned

Yes. Crashes when I do things like 'hit play'. =) Vegas11 crashes on the other machines too, just not as frequently. Concerned that it might be the GTX 570 with newer drivers. Going to try to rollback later today. This is the only program that

Vegas Pro crashes with CPU overclock?
Hi All Firstly, I'm running a fully up to date Vegas Pro 12. Important to note is that Vegas Pro 12 renders fine when CPU is at stock clock settings, and only crashes if the CPU is clocked a bit higher. Now naturally, 99% of people will say don't

Perhaps I'm in LUCK that this #486 build is stable for me (again, 'for me') in spec System #1. The Catalyst driver was left in driver 12.8 (August 2012), and Win7's latest update is October. After having one update, the system is just stable...,
