  Zoom files are nonstandard with 900-fram GOPs (!) and may contain stream errors as well. 100% not the fault of Vegas software. Your conversion should not contain mp3 audio, as that is noncompliant also. Convert to x264 /  AAC  in Handbrake instead.

  First comment- as this is over 4K VEGAS automatically makes a proxy file, so if you're not say at best/full you won't be seeing the original file and there won't be any GPU decoding for the proxy. Without the proxy file I get GPU decoding activity
