RE: Vegas using a single core for rendering?
I just finished a short video for a church. Sorry, I have to disagree about using a single core for rendering, even if it is to AV1. The video mostly consists of DJI Mini 3 Pro 4K Cinelike-D footage with Bit rate set to 100Mb/s. First, I personally

RE: HEVC LAG PREVIEW
Because HEVC is a very compressed codec, NLEs such as vegas Pro usually have a much harder time processing it. There are several YouTube videos explaining HEVC - such as this one: With 5.3K GoPro HEVC video, I experience the same sort of stuttering

RE: V20 MP3 rendering is slow compared to earlier version (V13)
Noticed the same thing myself rendering long wav files to mp3. I keep an old vp14 handy on an older machine for that. Just rendered a 3 hour 24-bit wav file with highest quality mp3 preset in 2 min 54 sec. Vp20 rendered the same clip with same

RE: V20 MP3 rendering is slow compared to earlier version (V13)
I think MP3 audio files can be encoded in Vegas with Happy Otter Scripts (HOS), using the ffmpeg codec. Otherwise the MP3 encoder in Sound Forge 16 is very fast. As many Vegas users are aware, Sound Forge can be integrated into Vegas. rraud, Magix

RE: Sound Forge 16
@robert-engle ... In Vegas Pro, select a loop section of the video/audio event on the timeline (15 seconds should be enough if its just wind and motor noise), then click on File/Render As, select the MP3 format and the 192 Kbps template; click on

RE: [Closed] VEGAS Pro 22 Build 93
This media is 10-bit 422 HEVC and the 2017-era Xeon doesn't have an iGPU that can decode it so the performance is as expected. I'd shoot 10-bit 420 if that's an option or make proxy files in VEGAS (right-click on the media). GeneralComplete

RE: scubbing & playback
I understand what you are saying, it just isn't normal for VEGAS for there to be no decode or encode activity when legacy AVC is unchecked and AVC media in a MP4 or MOV wrapper (not MKV, etc.) is used and you render to a GPU-supported template like

RE: MP3s using wrong codec VEGAS Pro 17
If you have Sound Forge Audio Studio installed, there has been a history of it causing some MP3 problems including screeching audio. Please see the workaround here. Some years ago, I had to do this workaround with Sound Forge Pro. I don't have

I have recently purchased vegas 21 and it seems to crash on me randomly every few mins. There is nothing apparent causing this, sometimes it happens when it is simply playing back the video. I followed a quick youtube tutorial to reduce this however
