Creating a Script to make 3D Extrusion in a Text
Hello Everyone,Following the advances in working with 3D layer PSDs in Vegas, which @zzzzzz9125 helped create here: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/psd-layer-splitter-script--145259/ I was wondering if it would be possible to create

RE: Problem with rendering to Android on Sony Vegas 13 Pro
@Former user ... Yes ... in Pan/Crop 'Lock AR' needs to be turned off and, for the OP's video, the pan/crop frame had to be manually sized to match the full size of the 9:16 frame particularly the height. Track Motion was a simple resize of the

You can try motion tracking the fly and attaching a feathered clean matte of your background to it.

RE: Track Motion Problem
@melory-f Probably, the most direct way to achieve your goal is to recognize that you are trying to vertically stack parts of two 1920x1080 images into a 1080x1920 frame. The symmetrical dimensions available for each vertical half is 1080x960

RE: When to "resample"?
Been using VP forever and believe I understand when to resample and when not to, but to be sure, in the following "use case" is it best to resample? I have a 29.97 clip on 29.97 timeline in 29.97 project and will render to 29.97. The video clip is

@Roger Bansemer You forgot to tell us what fx or at what level you are reducing the image on your top track. However, since you are applying the color cast at the Track Level, "whatever" you choose to reduce your image should also be applied at the

RE: VP21 Stabilzer comparison - Mocha Vegas: Best stabilizer!
@lan-mLMC Ok I get it, I was confused! On the subject that Vegas' native motion tracker & video stabilization can obviously also be used for stabilizing, however, although the result is close, and usable (I tried with the same clip), the 3 other

RE: [BUG] Slow motion FX artifacts with GPU acceleration turned on
How did you do the slow motion exactly? One other idea is to use a velocity envelope, slow your footage to some amount and then in project properties (edit: or just on the event using an "event switch") have resample set to "optical flow." If that

RE: VEGAS not opening several formats
A bit of background -- RLE was one of the very first attempts at interframe compression -- it gives pretty good compression on static scenes, but with shadow pixelation most noticeable in the blue channel. On motion scenes, the bitrate rapidly

RE: Are you EU people shooting in 30P if it's a purely youtube project?
@3POINT ... Optical flow rendering in Vegas is a pita, takes ages...try (and compare) optical flow in DR. Totally agreed that rendering in DR with Optical Flow is so much faster than in VP - and DR has bulk rendering which is really great. When

RE: Problems with VEGAS Crashing w/ Video Recorded in OBS
Of course, we're here to help. CQP is okay quality- if there are detailed scenes with lots of motion consider a lower number if you notice artifacts. I think at this point we have the media decoding in a good place. No guarantees everything else

RE: Vegas rendering fast on the laptop but very slow on better desktop
Thanks for doing the benchmark- it helps diagnose what is going on. I suggest keeping it on your system and you can test new versions of VEGAS and new drivers, etc. to see if everything is working as expected. With VEGAS Pro text and motion for some

Insert Track Motion Points at Exact Time Separation
Greetings, I have been doing this manually for years and it occurs to me that there may be away to do it with scripting of some kind that would be very useful and save a lot of time. In my example screen shot you can see some track motion points.

RE: AV1 encoding - is using CPU better than GPU for GeForce RTX 4070?
Yes, I know that CPU upgrade is not so necessary. I know that I can achieve maximum 30% of progress in performance based on the content. I don't know if Voukoder supports GPU encoding, that's why I consdier both CPU encoding using Voukoder or GPU
