RE: VEGAS Pro 21 Build 314 and 315 General Thread
...once I have made that cut and try to move the cut clip (both video and audio tracks) to another track, To move to a new track, you need to have both the video and audio events highlighted - grouping has no effect on moving tracks up or down no

Motion Tracking jitters
I've been working with track motion the past few days and beside crashing constantly, I have not been able to track very well. Here's a very short video on my procedure. I'd sure appreciate any help on what I may be doing wrong. Thanks

RE: Changing and Converting Videos Of 60 FPS Down To A Lower FPS
@Former user 1. is with hickups, because no resampling, 2 is ofcourse smoother by using resampling (but looks also unnatural because lack of motion blur).

RE: This might be a nice future feature for Vegas
So in layman's terms for me...what exactly is the AI part in this? If it's about a more "clever" or accurate calculation / algo to distinguish a predefined pixel containing a color or luma intensity from another, I'd, rather ignorantly of course,

RE: How To Make An Image Smaller?
Yeah, that's not a good use for Pan/Crop. You really need Track Motion but, like you said, you either have to dedicate a track to it or add keyframes to the track. Much easier to just use the PIP effect.

RE: Moving video behind of a mask
If you buy VEGAS 21 suite, or VEGAS 21 post, or any of the suite or post VEGAS 365 versions (basically any VEGAS version that doesn't have "Edit" in the name), they all come with mocha, which makes this sort of thing far easier to do. Watch the

RE: VEGAS - Using GPU Acceleration causing choppy frames in Video Preview
... do you know when 3D tracking and planar tracking was introduced to Sony Vegas? Sony Vegas (i.e Vegas Pro 13 and earlier) never had 3D or planar tracking. The first version of Vegas Pro that introduced a basic form of motion tracking was Vegas

Here's the text first we're going to track the motion with mocha. note that i only applied the transform tracking, the first tracking option, I turned all the others off. Mocha has lost track of his hat, so we'll correct that real fast. Didn't mean

RE: Moving video behind of a mask
Mocha looks intimidating but I found it useful for tracking a subject and creating a mask even without really understanding it. For just this circle are you sure VEGAS motion tracking can't do it? This and a circular bezier mask? (Haven't tried it

RE: New to Vegas. Videostudio user. Crossfade doesn't work.
By doing the CTRL-Drag, you change the length of the video event to match the audio which should make it a precise match. If you change the percentage in the properties, it will not change the length of the event. However, if you do have the full

V20 "forgets" visible button settings and track motion presets

RE: Issues with edition | H265 Videos
This piqued my interest, so I recorded the game this morning at 1920x1080-119.88p 100 Mbps XAVC. It wasn't a problem with my machine on the Vegas 21-208 timeline at the native frame rate. I always have the option of slow motion when delivering at a

RE: Insert Track Motion Points at Exact Time Separation
Yes, this is very easy to do. See this two part series: Those show you how to adjust the values of a keyframe. You just need to add additional keyframes at the proper locations. The location will be the "timeline" timecode to add the new

RE: add "save presets of text with animation, keyframes" function
@Jiri-Vlach This is a feature that many users here have been wanting for a while. The current way that Vegas handles text is honestly quite archaic in comparison to other NLE's available, very much a sore spot in their tool box that will hopefully

RE: How do I change the center point of pan/crop?
Rory,I am not really understanding your point. They are both doing a digital zoom. The PanCrop does it using the original resolution of the image, the track motion does it using the project resolution. The PanCrop gives you a better final product

Robert Johnston, how long did your render take? Thank you all again!! @Sneddy I think I remember seeing 20-some minutes. I guess I could do it again. It took 18 minutes and 55 seconds. (Intel Core i7 10700k @ 3.8 GHz, Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER 8

RE: video ghosting / framing problem with Sony FX3
Indeed, recording with 1/100 sec shutter gives natural motion blur with 50fps. For a more crispy picture after stabilizing you could use 1/200 or even 1/400 sec shutter. But as always, best try avoiding shaky camera movements, which makes in post

RE: Vegas Edit 19 - Question about pan/crop and parent motion
As a new Vegas user, you may have better luck for now using the Picture in Picture effect. Keep in mind that 1080p screen aspect is not very good resolution to begin with, so thumnail images inside the frame will not read well, especially on
