RE: Suggestion: Let 2.5D Parallax in Vegas easier and more user-friendly
@Former user It already exists in Vegas, that is, PIP or Bezier Mask. Unfortunately, 3D Track Motion cannot be adjusted in the preview window.

Choosing Vegas Pro or Magix?
At the Magix forum, I asked if I should choose Magix or Vegas Pro. The response was in practice that it is better to ask here. So I ask you, while I continue with the transcoding problem I posted about a few days ago. I started editing in 2003. With

Transfering Motion Data completely disrupts the project
Hello colleagues!I've been editing in Vegas for almost 10 years now, my last version was Vegas 17 that I used for 4 years. This month I decided to step out of my comfort zone and bought the latest 21st version (Build 315).I spent the last couple of

RE: Insert Track Motion Points at Exact Time Separation
OK I have managed to do 2 scripts that do almost what I want. (I did this all in Notepad++ with some assistance from Chat GPT):The first one will add 2 keyframes, 1.5 seconds apart. The keyframes are the same as the previous one. It will also put

Motion Tracking
Mocha takes so long and so easy to forget a step or two. Why can't Vegas implement something like this... see video.

RE: How can i move keyframes via scripts.
Hi, There is some discussion about that here:https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/insert-track-motion-points-at-exact-time-separation--144126/ If you read through it you will find links to Ed's tutorials and also a ton of code that I

RE: Vegas Pro 20 (Build 411) - Issue With Track Motion
@Reyfox ... I turned off GPU acceleration in Preferences>File I/O, and Video Wouldn't that have the undesirable side-effect of drastically slowing down timeline performance paricularly with VFX that are enhanced by GPU acceleration? For the time

RE: New Dell 7770 and Vegas 20 build 411 keeps freezing
Try Prestazioni to see what the GPUs are doing. You can make a 25p timeline and add your 50p footage onto it. Right click and "add at project framerate" for 2x slow motion. It should play back more smoothly, too. You can also add a velocity envelope

RE: How to zoom all tracks?
Thanks, works! But there is a new problem -- Parent Track Motion starts with 1080x1080 image parameters and only such a square can be animated (child tracks contain 1920x1080 video). If I manually change it to 1920x1080, the image obviously expands.

RE: [NEW PLUGIN FOR FREE] Upcoming Release of Periodic Motion OFX Plugin
One thing I don't understand is why is it so heavy? It causes a lot of lag in Vegas, since it's just a few files, I thought it would be something lighter. s_BlurMoCurves, which is part of a very large plugin package, does not cause any lag when

RE: Crop & Border - At track level
@totol Instead of using the Border effect, you could use a color gradient on the top track for the border. You can use track motion to move and resize the border to fit the cropped image or video. In Color Gradients, there is one called Blue Movie

RE: VEGAS Pro 23 and MOCHA VEGAS
@Risi In Mocha Pro, track the object you want to follow. 'Export Track' , choose Boris FX Corner Pin (Continuum 11 and older) (,txt), save that to your desktop or a folder. (ignore the on screen spline or other settings in these pictures, I was

RE: Motion tracker disappears
I'm not sure what to say about the regions incrementing, but this is normal behavior and shouldn't create any issues. For motion tracking being linked to each other, you seem to understand that you need to create new regions to create new tracking

RE: Motion tracking modes
This isn't for 3D text effects, but it'll get you started. You can use 3D track motion composite mode, along with track motion, to tilt the text upwards, that should do what you're after.

RE: Motion Tracking more than one region
@paul-marshall that is above my paygrade. I haven't used track motion much in what I do, so honestly can't answer it. I would think it's possible, because you are working with 2 different regions. Have you tried it?

RE: Best setting for uploading CGI
@Gaz-Spitfire Yeah. Rippling waves, grain, and fog are the worst enemies of modern streaming video delivery, because compression limits the available bitrate where it is needed the most. I would try the Animation Tune in Voukoder with CRF 18 and 1

RE: Can VEGAS have a script for One Click 3D Compositing Effect?
@iEmby That's because you're NOT looking at "Parent" track motion. See the changes here in bold (as I said, you have to look at ParentTrackMotion and your "ApplyParentAnimation" was only looking at TrackMotion): private void

RE: VEGAS Feature Wishlist - August 2024
My first suggestion: Integrated Masking Think how masking works in VEGAS Effects or After Effects. You don't add an effect or open the pan/crop window. You just click on either a shape mask and draw it out directly on the preview monitor, or you

RE: Is there a way to preview, and zoom in, video while motion tracking?
@Former user Hi, if there was a preview in Track Motion this is pretty much all you'd see? PS, I coloured the background of Track Motion pale blue because it'd need some kind of background to show the edges of the project.

RE: Feature Request (Extract and process frames from a motion JPEG image)
If you are coder, it is pretty trivial to knock something together for this; as I said earlier, Motion Photos are a proprietary format consisting of a JPEG followed by a marker and then an MP4. So all you need to do is write code to find the marker

Surely there is a way to solve the problem. The fact is that for a person like me of little to medium experience in video editing, the procedure is very complex. Since it is a known problem, and Motion Tracking procedures can change from release to

How To Apply Motion Tracking to a Pan/Crop (Have The 'Camera' Follow)
