RE: Best setting for uploading CGI
Try exporting to limited color range as that's what YouTube expects.

RE: Contrast change when copying clip to new project with same properties
Your media color space is probably set differently in the two projects. Right-click on the media in Project Media and click Properties.

RE: Color Grading To Media FX has an issue.
No media was selected in your 'Project Media' window. The color grading panel attempts to connect to a selected event or track on the timeline, or to a selected media in the 'Project Media' window. Currently, the focus is not on the selected event

[Solved] Video of pool is turquoise/grey, not bright blue
The blue water looks fine in the MP4 or WMV source file (I tried both) but on the Video Preview the water is dark and blurry, and in the resulting rendering video, regardless of output format. I tried adjusting the brightness and contrast but can't

RE: Color grading in Vegas
Agree with Rogers finding. The ACES transformation seems to delilvers unuseable results. The best results I had in a fast test was to apply a slog3 Lut published by Alister Chapman, and then apply some color correction with the color grading

RE: Vegas color grading vs other tools
@lan-mLMC Graide Color Curves is something entirely different. @Mindmatter Colorfast 2 then would be the best option for you. It is an excellent alternative that ticks all the boxes for what you are looking for.

RE: How do I enable 4:2:2 10 Bit Rendering
I didn't notice the MediaInfo so in that case it's a complete waste of space to inflate it to 422. That is why the render templates are for 420 only. Doing log conversions or extensive color manipulations in 32 bit mode with 10 bit footage makes

RE: V22 248 crashes on every render
... Vegas just crashes and disappears at roughly 75%. If watching the render progress in the preview window at the time of the crash, inspecting the media on the timeline at or near that crash point might give some clue as to the cause. For

RE: Color grading in 21 Vegas Pro
The "GPU acceleration of video processing", is it on or off? Here, the color 'spread' occurs with GPU acceleration either on or off. In both cases, this happens on version 21

RE: Black bar fill - artefact with shadows at 0
I'm seeing it on your attached screenshot, particularly noticeable on the left hand side. I wouldn't worry about that....😱 it just makes it stand out a little from the background. Same example just with a colored background.

RE: Vegas 22 Pro - HDR still unusable (for me)
I am coming to the conclusion that HDR on iPhone is just best avoided! Maybe more because of the blocking and HLG as aquisition format. ACES color space: Default (ACES2065-1) This mode is still a questionmark at the moment.

RE: need help understanding / managing banding in 10 bit.
In that case it sounds too inflexible and reduces the benefit of shooing log so I wouldn't use this LUT and would use a separate teal/blue finishing LUT once the image contrast and exposure are set using tools like the 3 way color

RE: Access a full library of third-party LUTS to apply styles and moods...
Third party LUTs aren't executable packages like video FX; rather, they are usually .CUBE files that are copied onto a folder on your computer. Once you know where that folder is, use the Browse button in either Vegas Pro's LUT Filter VFX or in the

RE: Need a script for changing media's alpha channel.
I understand. I made the PNG from the JPG in Classic Paint and the Color Space was changed to show RGBA where no actual transparency existed. The implication to me is that transparency doesn't have to be present, it just has to be possible based on

RE: Need a script for changing media's alpha channel.
@jetdv That appears to be correct. An Aside It appears that Classic Paint in Windows 11 adds the Color Space parameter where none existed before: That's probably why it always seemed to fix the problem.

RE: [Solved] Win10 + Vegas 18 + 32-bit floating point pixel and Curve Colors...
I can replicate your flickering bug using a curves Fx starting on frame 203 in 32-bit video mode. It starts earlier in 32-bit full mode. 8-bit full is fine. I'd submit it as a bug report to support. Here's MediaInfo for the file: GeneralComplete

Can I see the rest? MediaInfo can be used to show the detailed properties of your source media, which is a great help in troubleshooting many VEGAS issues. Open your file with it, and switch it to text view ("View" > "Text"): Highlight all the

RE: How do I enable 4:2:2 10 Bit Rendering
That is a misconception as you can't actually see the difference between them. The SDR color spectrum (gamut) is normally limited to Rec709 as well. The point of 10-bit 422 is for further editing- you can benefit from the precision when you convert
