RE: Screen Recorder in Vegas Pro 18
Vegas 18 screen capture still does not work on my systems with AMD cards. But the ReLive facility built into the AMD driver still works fine for me.

RE: Screen Recorder in Vegas Pro 18
The only proper screen recording that worked for me so far from any software was OBS. If you are serious into screen recording I advise looking into that app, it's free. And just use Vegas for edits. But I understand your frustration. Since you are

RE: Second Screen is black and Crashes Vegas 18
I have a 1080P wide screen and a 50" 4K TV as my monitors. 4K is out from the AMD RX480. I tried both screens out from the 480 and had issues. Then I attached the 1080P Wide Screen to the MSI motherboard and left the 4K TV attached to the 480. Not

RE: Preview fail on vidcap60.exe using NVIDIA
Thank you, yes. I seem to have found a work around thanks to using two monitors. Since the video will preview when the window sits across the two screens, I watch it and wait for the moment I want to press Capture. Then move the window over to

I managed to reproduce the problem and I even managed to get it working (once). It seems the error is not really related to camera access. I found the following folder on my documents folder .VEGAS Capture There is a JSON file here which is created

RE: Vegas Pro v18 - render times MUCH longer than v17
I have experienced similar bug with both VP17 and VP18. It happened on unremarkable 1080P30 AVC files, encoding via Nvenc. The render speed average as I recall was more like 2fps, . it starts out slow, but not that slow and gets slower The last

RE: HEVC Benchmark
I think it's both. One thing I noticed when my HVEC render with qsv crashed (with io set to decode with amd) was that both the amd and intel gpus were showing decode activity at the same time. That can't be right. Tried to capture it but Vegas keeps

You need Windows 10 OS for a VEGAS Pro 17 version anyway, and those do not come from Sony. Read e.g. here.

RE: Warning: An error occured while opening one or more files.
Since the emulated games are being played on a PC, why not just use Open Broadcaster Software https://obsproject.com/download to do a screen capture rather than mess with an antiquated codec like xvid? I don't know about others, but I try to avoid

RE: I try to add a video on media but only shows seconds of it
I can't see enough of the video to discern its format, but it appears to be some sort of third party screen capture software or otherwise non-camcorder video. I'd recommend opening that video in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to
