RE: [Closed] Questions about Vegas Pro Color Range
Below is the attached photo. It is a capture of Vegas 18. Unlike what @mark-y mentioned above, it is recognized as the original without touching it. The color range is also recognized as full. Another one is Vegas 22. It is recognized as limited,

RE: Slow render with color grading
Thank you, it worked. It's only a shame that neither the VEG files nor the templates for color grading are backward compatible between 315 and 208.

RE: color correction
After messing around with this a bit more I see the problem lies with reducing an image in size. When I reduce the image size the color grading effects everything around the original image size. I just realized this when when I didn't do a "match

RE: Problems that appeared after updating to Build 194 HEVC
Well, you can lower your Preview to something that can play things back smoothly. Playing back with color grading a clip at 18fps until it gets up to full speed with a preview of Best>Full, is quite ok for me. I have VP18-22 on my computer and

RE: Vegas 19 HEVC not working, immediate crash
I have an Intel Arch B580, which I hope is suitable for that work. I tried many type of HEVCs, from iPhones, from DJI devices, etc. This is the one, that crashed too bad, even can't open Vegas :D Format :

RE: [Solved] Win10 + Vegas 18 + 32-bit floating point pixel and Curve Colors...
I can replicate your flickering bug using a curves Fx starting on frame 203 in 32-bit video mode. It starts earlier in 32-bit full mode. 8-bit full is fine. I'd submit it as a bug report to support. Here's MediaInfo for the file: GeneralComplete

RE: V-Log clip render output looks different to preview
For your v-log footage, use the ACES transformation ACEScc, what is great for log footage. ACEScct is fine too, but adds a „toe“ to encoding. See here: https://blog.frame.io/2019/09/09/guide-to-aces/ I tend to use ACEScc for my v-log footage of my

RE: 10 Bit Video in Vegas Pro 22 - What Project Settings to Use?
i dont ask for color graded or edited footage. Instead, 10bit videos straight from the cam. "I haven't even figured out how to edit any footage yet. " That's why i ask for footage, for giving you editing tips :)

RE: The Color Grading window is lagging
@lukizap They're doing the continuous upgrade thing now, bring in new features with new release but the upgrade of engine is not supposed to be held back waiting for new version release so hopefully color grade and playback improve for you by then.

Interesting that colorize takes longer... I wonder if that tradeoff means it is more accurate now?

RE: Vegas Pro 22 Horrifically Slow HVEC rendering
You can add two LUTs via the CGP at once. (input and output). You could also apply the two correction ones to the media as CGP at the media level and then a look LUT via CGP at the track level.Or use third-party software to merge the gamma and

RE: Audio is bugged and idk how to fix it.
Can I see the rest? MediaInfo can be used to show the detailed properties of your source media, which is a great help in troubleshooting many VEGAS issues. Open your file with it, and switch it to text view ("View" > "Text"): Highlight all the

RE: 10 Bit Video in Vegas Pro 22 - What Project Settings to Use?
10 bit 422 HEVC only decodes with Intel GPUs. 420 decodes with any GPU for better performance without proxy files. Try 32 bit full with view transform off as a high bit alternative to 8 bit full. I assume you are shooting log, otherwise you may

RE: ProRes Weirdness in Vegas 22
That is concerning. Was the HEVC rendered in VP 22 or 20? Are you on build 194 of 22? What are your project settings- are you in 32-bit mode (ACES?) or 8-bit full? In a quick test using color gradients generated in VEGAS, a photo test image and a

RE: HEVC/TIFF 10-bit CC/Levels Fx Woes Build 315
I agree--the whole 32FR/ACES system in Vegas has been unreliable for a long time. I wonder if the dark previews you're seeing involve levels or color curves plugins in the fx chain (or do you use the GC panel)? I don't think I've seen the CG panel

RE: Slow render with color grading
@Reyfox you have 16core version of my 12core, I just noticed I have 60% CPU use unrelated to Vegas, a poor time to do a color grading benchmark. Will have to do this again when the other app has finished.

RE: how do you apply LUT file?
In latest VP19, you can apply LUT via Input LUT section of Color Grading Panel: great tip! I use version 21 but when I add a lut in the list I can't remove it anymore after that. I removed some bad luts but they still are in the list. How can I

@Roger Bansemer Sorry, im not seeing that here. Double check to make sure that the above track is not an adjustment track etc, or you are using the color correction incorrectly at the track level instead of directly on the event.

Do the usual VEGAS gurus have advice on these topics? Otherwise general content should apply to VEGAS (3-way color corrector vs color curves vs selective HSL color adjustment). Personally I'd get global white balance correct first in camera

For 1 I did reproduce an issue with gaps in the RGB parade in 23- sorry I forgot to finish the text. For the pan/crop one I think I can see the issue you are raising. Neither CPU nor GPU usage are high which is confusing. For the NVIDIA capture,
