RE: Create cross fades for all selected cuts?
Than the question is, why are you expanding the multicam track? I have never felt the need for it. And if you have to, apply the transition before you expand the track. OldSmoke, i need to apply coloration by camera, since they are not all the same

RE: Create cross fades for all selected cuts?
Cornico, Thanks for the tutorial video. But this seems to only work with adjacent events. My events are on separate tracks and do not overlap (as is the case when expanding back from multicam mode). It's getting the overlap of events for the

RE: Create cross fades for all selected cuts?
After a multicam edit, it would be nice to be able to select all cuts and create a default cross fade. Is there a way to accomplish this another way? Why can't you do it? Just select the events and drag the default cross fade or any other transition

RE: Ideas For Working With A 90 Minute Project?
I've done several long form projects in Vegas over the years and I only have had two types of issue: 1) out of memory issues which were solved by working with smaller & rendering smaller sections (don't think I've had these since I got Vegas

RE: Vegas Pro 13 multi camera video resolution down switching
Did you already tried video proxies during the multicam session? Right click on file in Project Media and choose "Create Video Proxy" Thanks for the response, and I have avoided this so far, as the videos are over three hours long, so proxy

RE: [Closed] VEGAS Pro 15 release date
Hello, I've been using Vegas since Vegas Pro 8 at work and I love it. I'm very excited to see the new release. Here are my VEGAS Pro suggestions: 1. Ability to disable double click at event corner for precise edits. I mean some crazy mouse

RE: Rendering confusion
What is the reason the OP makes an intermediate file at all? I do all my work in the multicam project, editing, color correction, grading and audio. But if you must make an intermediate, use Sony XAVC-I. I do mostly events and recitals, weddings

RE: Rendering confusion
Try this workflow. Do your multicam edit first, then save the project. Open a new project, nest the original project inside of it (import it just like you would a video clip). Do your editing there. I haven't messed with project nesting much myself,

Rendering confusion
I, (like I think many others) have always been confused by the number of rendering options. Current Situation: Project was shot on 3 seperate different cameras. My workflow is the put the multicam footage together first, render then work with that

RE: Suddenly lagging and CPU usage high even when not in playback
I don't think this is the proper foum for this but since you asked I'll tell you. My apologies to Magix and all the great people who work there. I borrowed a Macbook pro 15 with the touch bar and a 256 flash drive and spent all day on it today. I

a MacBook pro 15 with FCPX edits 4k with no issues Is that hearsay or your personal experience? I myself was looking into a MacBook pro and FCP X but was disappointed by the performance of it. Especially 4K XAVC-S from my AX100 and a6300 didn't edit

RE: multi-camera editing best practices - losing event FX - Prodad
Ok, so I've done lots of editing over the years but never multi-camera. I have Vegas Pro 14 and I'm having trouble figuring out my best practices Typically I'd take a one camera video add levels fx, maybe color correction etc and now Mercalli

RE: Best Video Card?
Fury X is the best, right? My main concern is smooth multicam editing with 4 or 6 HD1080 cameras. One is at 60fps, the rest at 30fps. Another one is also 4k, so I wait for the proxy to be built, which is slow. Will I also need to upgrade my

RE: Effects on tracks with Multicamera editing
I do quite a bit of multicam editing. My workflow is first match the cameras by applying the required FX on a media level. Than create the multicam track and do final correction on the event level. All FX applied on the event level will be lost when

RE: Best PC for Video Editing?
"Sorry, but I do disagree with you simply because of my own experience. Once you look into multi camera editing, there is no single drive that will do the job, not even a single SSD can handle the demand of a 6 camera 1080 60p edit" I do 5-6

That would sound like you already created the multicam track. In that case Vegas will show only one track on the timeline. No worries, press CTRL+SHIFT+D and you should see the multicam preview. This keyboard combinations enables toggling the

RE: Rendering 4K ProRes Formats
I just rendered a piece of a UHD multicam footage (GH5, 2 x WX970M's & AX55) in ProRes XQ from Vegas Pro 14, and imported the file into FCPX which seems to play/edit it fine. (I just started to use FCPX and haven't done much editing so I am

RE: PC refresh question
I said SATA striped raid, not M.2. If you want to start raiding M.2 you're talking about a lot of additional cost to your build, and I edit 4K multicam good enough as it is using my SATA video drives. I don't put video on my system M.2 drive. I'll

RE: PC refresh question
I don't need raid controllers, my system drive is faster than any SATA striped raid configuration Well, I doubt that too. M.2 RAIDS are very very fast and when you do 4K multicam editing you will see what I mean. There is only so much storage a
