  test #1 Dynamic RAM enable, file explorer window disabled, reinstalled as the hidden administrator feature in windows10 as per Technical support. It ran much longer and smoother but ultimately crashed and continues to crash. I have the screen grab.

  Well, not really practical to change "topic subject" and start again now. Progress has been made. The OP can now reproduce the issue fairly regularly (i.e. Vegas UI locks-up after series of zooms and mouse clicks) as can bee seen from the screen

  No, you tried to customize power plan settings instead of choosing a power plan (@ 0:11). Expand "show additionnal plans" and just select one of them. I don't know the limits of an attachement. I already asked a modo about this but he don't know. So

  Same here. I7 4200 32 gig ram AMD 480 8 gig ssd and 7200 spinners. Win 10 pro. AMD app is killer capture. VP STILL black screen. Main monitor 4k 50 TV HDMI.

  When I first installed VP17 nothing worked in the capture screen. Since updating to the latest version at least I can see the audio levels working, still a black screen however.

  Screen capture does not work. The Line rate of the monitor is different from the capture requirement so just a bunch of almost horizontal lines. Bit of a NON feature. Theer are no adjustment within the Screen Capture. Saw one comment about change

  Vegas Pro 17 Screen Capture is all F*Ked up. https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/screen-capture-not-working--116553/ Many people use other software to screen capture like Camtasia ($250). I use OBS (Free) as many YouTubers use OBS.
