RE: [Solved] .MOV container problems in Vegas Pro 17
Not sure why ProRes was not working in my Vegas Pro 17 since I bought it late last year, and don't believe everything you read on the Internet. Maybe it was one of the updates in Vegas Pro 17, but ProRes is now working. I can now edit all my ProRes

RE: [Solved] Latest Win10 Update caused activation issue
It happened in February. I built a new PC going from 1700X w/16GB RAM to the 3900X and 32GB RAM (room for another 32GB) and I always reinstall fresh Windows. So I was migrating over to the 1TB NVME when I found out that I could not activate on the

Hardware: 9900K cpu 2080 ti gpu 32gb ddr4 3000mhz c15 ram I've used both Vegas 16 and Premiere Pro 2019 trial programs, but the Adobe trial ended before I could make my own comparison. I still have Vegas 14 installed, but I'm looking into

Does Vegas Pro 21 need internet access every time when started?
Hi all, Long time Vegas Pro user here (since Vegas Pro 13 all the way up to Vegas Post 19). I plan on upgrading to Vegas v 21 that I will install on a laptop that most of the time will not have reliable internet access. And that's the catch here:

    RE: Computer Upgrade
Something separately to this is that I have been really thinking about is the new AMD RX 7900 XT with its 20GB of vRAM, which would be more than enough vRAM for anything. What’s anyone’s non-bias opinion of it? To be honest, having an all AMD PC

Extremely slow and laggy preview with Vegas Pro 21
I recently upgraded from "Sony Movie Studio 13" to "Vegas Pro Edit 21 (Build 108)" and right away imported my current project (1440p@60 with a timeline of 2 minutes and 3 video tracks and one audio track, all footage MP4/H264 - nothing

@MH7 I previously had the Ryzen 9 3900X 12core/24thread CPU. I haven't benchmarked it yet, but with the a few of the projects I have, I tested the 3900X before upgrading, and with the 5950x, the rendering was 20% faster in one editor and in Vegas,

RE: Disappointing Vegas performance with new AMD RX6600XT
@Kosta-Stanic I am surprised at the differences you've mentioned between the 5950X and the 7950x. It might also come down to the DDR5 RAM and motherboard throughput also compared to X570. I am still considering upgrading to the 5950x, which should

RE: Vegas 21 (315) Lag when handling clips (Trimming and Moving)
What version were you using? You said you skipped 300 and 314- did you also skip 21.315? 22.93 is a refined version of 21.315 in my opinion. The old versions like 21.208 used so4compound decoder for HEVC (and benefited from Intel QSV decoding).

Drivers have been a problem with both AMD and Nvidia graphics cards. I had a RX480 in my computer for a long time. Never an issue or problem. The only time I would update my graphics driver if I were having problems. Since I wasn't, I'd be on the

RE: Vegas Pro and Intels new ARC Graphics hardware
Depending on the savings we may upgrade to Vegas Pro 20, ive yet to find any price breaks for this, we dont really need DVD architect anymore though.   Judging by how much power Intel are investing in there ARC hardware and how many games are moving

It seems you are going in a direction similar to mine, so I will share my experiences: Notes :- I went from a Ryzen 3600 XT and Radeon 5700XT, so have not tried the Nvidia / Intel combo.- My requirements are similar to yours as I play games (also

RE: Opinions on upgrading from GTX 1080 Ti to RTX 4080 or 4090
Then the price of a 3080 / 3080 Ti on eBay seem to start around 500 EUR ... but the specs feels like only a half upgrade ... But true that witht the 1.500 EUR of a 4080 ... I could do a similar upgrade 3 times over the years ... (and/or use that

RE: Upgrade from registered Vegas Pro 12
I don't get the issue- VP 12 is 10 years out of date. If you have a modern computer and OS you can upgrade to Vegas Pro Edit 20 for <$150. It's the same program you are used to with a lot more features and support for modern hardware. Movie

RE: Trialing Another Version of VEGAS Pro 20
This is highly unlikely, as there's no way that Magix could keep their doors open if they only make money off of the initial sale of the software. We have to keep in mind that they aren't using this software to help sell their hardware like

@Hulk I think I was using that version as well until last year and finally just decided the let the bank keep track. I keep waiting for an OS upgrade where it simply won't run. I recently upgraded to Windows 11 and wouldn't you know it? Those 12

RE: [Closed] VEGAS Pro 21 Build 108 General Discussion
Out of curiosity, has there been any performance increase playing HEVC 4:2:2 files such as canon clog3 footage without building proxies? That's the only thing that would entice me to upgrade. I'm pretty sure there isn't. I still wish for the day

Regarding the AMD RX 7900 XT I don't think anyone's tested it in Vegas. I wouldn't sign up to test it myself, esp. given the state of AMD drivers. We have quite a few RTX 4000 series NVIDIA in the benchmarks I listed (see my signature). I know AMD’s
