RE: Vloggers/Youtubers, what camera + capture method do you use for Vegas?
@KKSThe biggest problem I saw, was using the Media Express, all the captures had a significant Audio Delay, that I could not find any setting for in the software. Not sure what BlackMagic software you are using that alleviates that, or possibly you

RE: Stuttering playback of H.265 10 bit 4K video footage
@Howard-Vigorita Before the Intel 12 Gen and now 13 Gen Processors i would not have recommended Intel. Now in Both of these Intel Processors use the Same IGPU great for Video Encoding. I am happy that Vegas Pro has the option to distribute its work

RE: Upgrade from registered Vegas Pro 12
You can't upgrade V12, but you can upgrade to the latest version, which is currently V20. Note, the hardware specs are a lot different. Well, I know that. I was asking how to get an upgrade from V12. Pricing, how to. I want an upgrade-to- version

RE: VEGAS Pro 20 Build 214 General Thread
Faulty version of Vegas Pro 20?I will only add that in a very old version from a few years ago there were no problems with it. Of course, an earlier version of Vegas Pro, particularly from the Windows 7 era, would have worked well on your Windows 7

RE: Is Vegasaur still being developed?
@Hulk I think I was using that version as well until last year and finally just decided the let the bank keep track. I keep waiting for an OS upgrade where it simply won't run. I recently upgraded to Windows 11 and wouldn't you know it? Those 12

RE: What system component is most important to preview speed?
In hindsight, if we would had this optimization component search been asked several years (or a decade) ago... I'd had to relinquish hopes for significant improvement at video operations like rendering, previewing, complex FX chains, 4k or higher

RE: I render with my RTX 4090 24GB at twice the speed of my GTX 1060 6GB
Dual NVENC encoders are included on Ada GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs with at least 12 GB of memory... Thats not to say Vegas pro will use the two encoders in one session (yet). @bitman Dual Nvenc is for HEVC and AV1, H.264 reportedly is identical on

RE: Trialing Another Version of VEGAS Pro 20
So, will this continuous delivery be much like DaVinci Resolve Studio where you pay once and just get continuous updates without having to pay for each complete new version? This is highly unlikely, as there's no way that Magix could keep their

Yes; I have Resolve on my edit computer but I like the Vegas UI and the excellent sound management; but just what is its state in the professional world? The editors I know have never heard of Vegas Pro; it has never appeared at NAB and rarely

RE: Ryzen vs Intel for 4:2:2 10bit decoding
I would still consider eventually upgrading to atomos external recorders and shooting in prores, it decodes even easier than all i, is 10 bit 4:2:2, and has far higher quality than AVC or hevc because it is far less compressed. It should still

RE: Upgrade from registered Vegas Pro 12
I don't get the issue- VP 12 is 10 years out of date. If you have a modern computer and OS you can upgrade to Vegas Pro Edit 20 for <$150. It's the same program you are used to with a lot more features and support for modern hardware. Movie

RE: Video Preview - Why is it lagging so much?
Is the 2080ti not that well supported in Vegas? Would upgrading to a newer GPU like a 3090ti, an RTX 4000 series, or even a 7900xt help? I tried the same video files on my laptop with arguably worse specs, and it was able to playback the video

Persistent lockups of Vegas Pro while shuffling clips
I have been using Vegas Pro since version 17, and am on Vegas Pro 20 update 1 as of today. I have steadily upgraded my computer(s) over the years, and currently use a Ryzen 9 5900X with 32GB RAM and AMD 5100 8GB graphics card under Win 11. Not

Ultimate Vegas Pro PC Build
Back in 2016 I started a thread on another forum. We spec'ed out a editing machine build for Vegas and I built it. The build is listed below. I knew the software would take some time to catch up to the hardware. I'm now at a point where my GPU is

Rendering problem in Vegas Pro 20 when using Color Grading
I just upgraded to Vegas Pro 20 (version 20.0 build 139) from Vegas Pro 18 and I have encountered a problem not present in Pro 18. When using fairly aggressive settings in color grading I get a diagonal line of various colored pixels when rendering

I'd have initially guessed that the drive that you're either play back from, or rendering to, might be corrupted and need to be replaced, or defragmented. But, after upgrading to Vegas 20 recently myself, I've gotten this burst of noise issue at
