2 Gpu's and 2 monitors ?

I'm wondering, what is the benefits or drawbacks of connecting 2 monitors to the same GPU vs connecting one to the card and one to the CPU internal?

How do you run your system and what is your intake on this?

My 2 cents:
I have one monitor on the motherboard and one connected to the NVIDIA graphics card.
As a result, I can go to the BIOS when starting up.
If I connect both monitors to the NVIDIA graphics card, that's not possible.

My 3 cents to you, I have 2 monitors connected to my GTX1050. Only the DVI will do BIOS, not the HDMI on this card. Have you googled yours?
