Same thing here on my projects and again, does not happen on 4.0a

This studder is happening for me too which I have noticed since the upgrade. I found that when I changed the playback buffering from the default of 35 to .07 I get the least amount of studder. Also it does not show up when you print to tape.

I also can minimize the stuttering by reducing the playback buffering to 0.07.

Ok, I found the problem. It has to do specifically with overlapping events having the same offset into their relative media files. If you overlap events with dissimilar file offsets there was no problem.

Some of the changes I added in 4.0c to prevent asio gapping in play and record exposed the problem (which has been around since vegas 4.0).

Can anybody at SF give a status report on this matter please? I really need to know if I can upgrade and start mixing my latest project in v4 or not. Thank you!

Seventy days, or more, since the first post on this thread. Any fixes yet? Anyone have any ideas that "work."
