4k ProRes going black ...anyone know how to fix?

Footage shot from a Sony F700 in 4k prores goes black after I'm editing. The clips are also black on the explore window when previewing the clips. (Usually have to restart my computer to see the clips again.)

Other 4k footage from a Sony FS7 playback just fine.

If I drag a prores clip in it will give a: An error occurred while creating a proxy file for the stream. Reason could not be determined.

Using V13 win 10

V14 crashes not long after the project loads and has black clips.

Post MediaInfo and Vegas file properties from VP13 and VP14 if you can. VP13 should be using Quicktime (qt7plug.dll) to decode ProRes and VP14 should be using Vegas' own mxhevcplug.dll. The bottom of the File Properties window would confirm that and help track down the problem.

You could also consider sharing sample clips online (Google Drive etc.) for others to test.

I can usually solve black clip issues by restarting Vegas, not rebooting the whole computer.
