Yes, I want to use slow motion occasionally. I staretd to video blog with my Canon G7X Mark II and sometimes when footage is too shaky I slow it down.

Have you tried stabilizing the footage? Or maybe use a gimbal?

I bought Canon G7X for its portability and to not use extra gimbal, G7X has 5-axis stabilization. Yes I should use stabilization - in V15 (Got it from Humble Bundle for 25$) it works much faster than in V14, although proDAD plug is not present now :(

I don't think there is any in-camera stabilization that can compete with a gimbal. I actually have great results just with the build in Vegas-Stabilizer, sometimes better then with Mercalli 4 and always trouble free even on 4K source material.

Yes you are right it will never replace good gimbal, but check it how it is good, with some post it can be enough for amateur vlog (now I think about purchasing Zhiyun Crane M)
