I'm pleased to report issue 16 has been fixed with V10.0d on my system. I have an RME Multiface sound card. I just tested both 32 and 64 bit versions and they share the same ASIO channel nicely now, just like they did in V8.0. I also tested between 32 bit and 64 bit sessions simultaneously, no problem. And also between several open session of Vegas and a Reaper session. No problems. If I'm careful to stop playback before switching focus, there are no issues, at least for me. If I leave one playing and then switch focus to another session, it tries to play both but with lots of glitches. I don't consider that a problem because I don't expect that to work.

Thank you to the Sony team for this fix!

James, That should work fine, with as many applications running as your PC can handle, which is the whole point of multiclient ASIO; suspect it's something to do with RME; have you tried increasing Buffer sizes in the RME settings?

Hello Peter can you hear me? ...tap tap... testing....1...2...3... is this thing on?... I'm trying to help here....

BTW we have worked out the problem occurs when Vegas is exposed to soundcard with 128 ASIO I/O streams; it appears there's no problem when there are only 64 or less ASIO streams.

We are handling it internally. If we get stuck, I will seek your assistance.

UPDATE:

We have contacted SLL, and they have explained the problem.

We are working on a solution. No, I don't know when an update for this will be released.

Thanks,
Peter
