A Question About VEGAS Post 20 Activation

-MH- wrote on 1/24/2023, 9:05 PM

I just have a question about VEGAS Post 20 activation.

My question is:

  • When activating VEGAS Post’s various applications, is there a specific activation sequence, as in, do you have to activate VEGAS Pro first, then VEGAS Effects, VEGAS Image, and then finally SOUND FORGE Audio Studio?

Thanks in advance for any help!

This is the way I usually go about it...

Activate VEGAS Pro

Launch VEGAS Pro

Drop media on the timeline, right click, "edit in VEGAS Effects"

This activates VE. Can do the same with the "open in VEGAS Image" button on the preview window.

I find it easiest to do it that way.

Perhaps I’m just my overthinking, and I understand and know that people mostly report problems with VEGAS Pro on here (and I have admitted received a ‘Not Responding” issue with my VP 20 trial when trying to apply one of the new OpenGL transitions in VP 20 to a Sony XAVC-S 4k25 video), but I’m now reconsidering if I should actually go ahead with purchasing VEGAS Post 20 because of the issues reported by various users, especially with the latest second update.
