AC3 Pro or Studio?

They both show up in Vegas Pro 13 I was just wondering if it made any difference which one I selected to render for DVD?

Yes, it makes a difference.
AC3 Studio is noncompliant.
Use only AC3 Pro.

If you want to preserve the volume then make yourself a preset like this. Plenty on the forum about it if you search "dialog normalization -31dB"

Thank you. I kind of wondered why the DVD architect playback was a bit quieter than Vegas.
I guessed it was some kind of automatic compression.
