Add clickable link in YouTube/Vimeo Video?

I searched around in the Forum and on the VP 12 help. If it's there, I'm not searching with the correct syntax.

How do you embed a clickable link in a YouTube or Vimeo video, such as

for more information about blah blah blah, visit

I've seen it in some of the vids by Vegas users and other users. Never had a need until today.

Never would have thought it was done that way. I thought it was a link rendererd into the video itself and then when you clicked on it, somehow it would "magically" go off to the link sort of like when you put a hyperlink in a Word or Excel document. I'm still very much a novice at Social Media stuff.

The ability to link off site in a YouTube annotation is brand new this week, and there are plenty of limitations and pre-requisites.
