Adobe CS6 show in Chicago

Went to the Adobe show at Columbia College yesterday. I'm not very knowledgable about Premier since my only copy was 6.5. It gave me a strong incentive to buy Vegas 4.0. The integration of the programs is a very cool feature.

I hope that they sent someone from Madison, because one of the presenters made a very strong point that Adobe WANTED feedback from user, and has set up a website to receive it. It gave one the impression that Adobe is working very hard on customer satisfaction.

Come on Sony, get stuck into it!

Soooo many New Features were added to CS6 based on Customer Requests. Lots of things from Vegas, FCP, & Avid made it into the mix.

CS6 is light years away from 6.5... provided your workstation is up to date.

I took a look at the Adobe Premiere Pro forum the other day, really to gauge the mood and see how many times I could see the word "crash" in the thread titles. On a typical recent thread I noticed that there are 2 Adobe employees all over it, which is encouraging.

A future without mousewheel zoom however, is just too traumatic to even contemplate.

tap slash key (above Enter key): zoom out to full timeline, tap again, zoom back to whatever zoom you were at before.

not the same but saves me stress.
