After the last update my preview screen is totally crashing. My GPU's are up to date. I use two GTX 1080 in SLI mode,my CPU is 16 cores AMD Ryzen 9 3950X. I tried everything, even I deleted the program and reinstalled it. Nothing, the problem still persist. Because I still had to do my work I used as a backup Vegas Pro 17 which works great. I never got this problem before this update"so called deep learning''. My question is why I have to buy a new product which is so unstable and going to leave me in the middle of my work wondering what to do, and finally thanks to Vegas Pro 17 who saved me in this difficult moment.

That isn't really a question and you haven't given enough info to attempt to assist you. How do you know the deep learning module is connected to crashing?

Hi Roger and thank you for your effort to help me in this difficult moment, but I found and solved the problem. First, after the last update the settings I changed after downloading Vegas Pro 19 somehow returned to their default positions, so I increased the Dynamic RAM Preview to about 30% and enabled Legacy AVC Decoding and everything started to work fine. I don't know why and how that happened but it's a fact and you're right it has nothing to do with deep learning.

Hi, Nick thank you for reminding me with the images I saw when I opened your link to check again my video settings after the last update. I don't really know why and how that happened but it's fact. So I increased the Dynamic RAM to about 30% and enabled Legacy AVC Decoding and everything started to work properly. Thank you one more time.

Increasing dynamic ram preview doesn't have any impact on stability (though too much could lead you to run out of system ram).

The second change of enabling legacy AVC can help by avoiding buggy NVIDIA decoding that affects certain types of AVC files. It may reduce performance, however. Decoding has somewhat improved with newer versions of Vegas but it depends.

I suggest using a free program like Shutter Encoder or Handbrake on AVC from phones, Zoom, etc. to get standard AVC files that work well in Vegas without legacy AVC enabled.

I also recommend the NVIDIA Studio Driver for your GPU.
