I'm on Win7-64 with VP13 build 373 using AMD catalyst package 13-4 installed Aug 2013 on an ATI Radeon HD 6770 card.
Funny thing is that upon receipt of the computer in late 2012 the OEM installed driver showed ATI Radeon HD 6770. Upon my 1st driver update via AMD to 12-8 the device manager change the nomenclature of the card to ATI Radeon HD 5700 series. After chatting with AMD they basically said that the 6770 uses the same driver. I was on Vegas 12 at the time and the updated driver actually worked better so, I accepted it. Update 13-1 and 13-4 same.
Vegas 13 has been very stable. I can leave GPU on (set 200) for most my editing projects except for multicam green screen editing. That'll lock it up. So, turning off GPU (set to 0) during GS editing and back on (200) to render. Vegas 12 never was completely stable but was useable and mostly (set to 0) all the time.
My question: There was a warning on this forum not to install AMD 14-4 back in Apr/May 2014, so I skipped it. Now available mid Sep is AMD 14-9.
Anyone try it yet with my similar specs?
