Flack,
I'm going to see if I can bypass my proxy server for ftp uploads, because I think I can't map it to your port. I'll give it another go tonight . . .

What ftp server address do I use to get the tutorial for Icarus 2.09. Downloaded the program and recombined the files and the three programs all work as far as I know but I'm not sure exactly how to use them without some guidence. Do I have to download 18 gig of program again just to get the Tutorials or can I get them separately?

I can't seem to find any indexed Help file for Icarus.lite. Am I not looking in the right place ? Also, are all the various functionalities fo the program, (Recombine, something else, & something else), supposed to work, or is some of the functionality disabled in the lite version. I ask because I opened all three screens, and was able to adjust the parameters in each, but the OK-(or Adjust button, whatever it's called)-button , never became ungrayed. Those tutorial files would help. Anybody report whether they're up and running or not ? For me, this is not a very intuitive program..

Tried to download today but everytime I cut and pasted the address from jcassain's post the browser said the page did not exist. I tried to go through the back door from the web page but unfortunately I cannot read Spanish.

I got to the page yesterday, but today it's not there. Unfortunately, wasn't able to download the tutorial files, before being cut off. Am still looking for info on how to use this interesting tool. Anybody out there have any ?

Juan,
You moved the Icarus folder to your /Web folder, which is outside your http directories (I didn't give the path for obvious reasons).

Once he moves it again, you guys should be good to go.

Ok sound great, checked this morning and I stil got the 404 error.
donp wrote on 8/14/2003, 11:00 PM
Does anyone else besides jcassain have the movie on an FTP site the I can download. Still getting a 404 error on his site. Sorry to keep dredging this up I really want to use Icarus but I need to figure it out first and the tutor files are what I need.

Thanks a bunch

Don

Boy, I'd really like to get those video tutorial files too. Maybe jcassain could post them on one of the file sharing services, if he can't find a host server, and let people on the forum know when he'll be online for file sharing. I can recommend KazaaLite, it doesn't put a lot of garbage onto your computer like Kazaa does, and of course, it's completely free.

I downloaded the 2.07 full version form Frenchey's foreign site. I havn't installed it so I don't know about the tutorial section yet.
jboy wrote on 8/18/2003, 10:00 PM
Thanks Marky. Appreciate the efforts you've made to this point. I know KazaaLite may not be as convenient, as you have to leave your computer on, but if a couple of us download it this way it'll also be available on our computers when we're online, so it'll take the onus off of you. Wish I could help with your hosting problem..

Hi you all, installed the "full'" 2.07 version and it doesn't have the tutorial files either, so I guess I still need the tutorial movie. Any luck uploading it yet? The full 2.07 was 47 meg.

Where did you find the "full" 2.07 version ?

Your username's case sensitive - it's "Markey", not "markey"

Can someone helpn me make some sense of flak's ftp address:

user markey

pass video

IP mashadmin.no-ip.info

port 21123

you should be able to grab it from me there....

The is what I believe is what he referred to as "in my previous post". I don't have an "ftp program". Is there a straight web accessable address. how do I put this in my address bar and say go and get there?

Thanks Flack for putting it there, if I cant get there I'll sure get the movie files.
