New kid on the block. I've been a long term user of Adobe Premiere but not keen on subscription software so here to see what Vegas is like. I use a lot of text labels on my videos (medical work) that I like to create in Photoshop so they can have integral backgrounds with some design elements etc. They are all different lengths, base on the text needed, but all the same height so they don't look messy. In premiere, when you import media it does so at the original size of the media and you then have the ability to re-size as you require - it's a super easy workflow. So, all my text labels appear the same height when I import them. Easy. In Vegas Pro, it appears that media is resized on import(?!?!) - is there a way to simply say "Keep original resolution" when importing media? If so how (I looked at this a while back at it appeared you needed a crazy work-around!)?
