Application Error (ucrtbase.dll)

I have been recording this particular application error with versions 18, 19, and 20 (clean install).

It seems benign, but smells like a VC runtime error? Anyone seen this before? The crash report doesn't show much more than this:

Faulting application name: vegas200.exe, version: 20.0.0.214, time stamp: 0x6347517b
Faulting module name: ucrtbase.dll, version: 10.0.19041.789, time stamp: 0x2bd748bf
Exception code: 0xc0000409
Fault offset: 0x000000000007286e
Faulting process id: 0x6bc
Faulting application start time: 0x01d90b49b39ec3b0

My current version of Microsoft Visual C++ is 2015-2019 installed 11/08/2022 maybe you have a corrupted version. Try a reinstall. My version of ucrtbase.dll is 12 feb 2021 and the same version number as yours 10.0.19041.789

I just wanted to post a belated follow-up to this.

The pattern is when the orphaned vegas200.exe process terminates; within a few minutes after exiting.

If that's what it takes to clear any subsequent start up issues, then colour me happy.

Following up my follow-up ... after disabling the audio devices that I do not use, the issue is resolved.

I killed the Nvidia and other high-dev devices, leaving only my Audient interface and USB headset. All good. No more events recorded in the log or the reliability index.
