I have Mini. When I record a stream via OBS I use the Remux function to get the container back to an MP4 which makes it readable.

my current Win10/64 system (latest drivers, water cooled) :

Intel Coffee Lake i5 Hexacore (unlocked, but not overclocked) 4.0 GHz on Z370 chipset board,

32GB (4x8GB Corsair Dual Channel DDR4-2133) XMP-3000 RAM,

Intel 600series 512GB M.2 SSD system drive running Win10/64 home automatic driver updates,

Crucial BX500 1TB EDIT 3D NAND SATA 2.5-inch SSD

2x 4TB 7200RPM NAS HGST data drive,

Intel HD630 iGPU - currently disabled in Bios,

nVidia GTX1060 6GB, always on latest [creator] drivers. nVidia HW acceleration enabled.

main screen 4K/50p 1ms scaled @175%, second screen 1920x1080/50p 1ms.

I don't have the Mini Pro, so don't know about what the file format is.

Maybe you can provide a sample to the cloud?

But such a surprise, Vegas 18 opens this file in my second computer, maybe an older codec version?

First computer I7 with AMD Sapphire 550 4Gb, second computer Asus B150I PRO GAMING/WIFI/AURA onboard video, probably intel (this works)

I had this problem with files from the Atem Mini Extreme ISO and contacted support with that. This is what solved the problem for me:

VEGAS PRO 18 build 482  installs with Preferences> File I/O Enable legacy AVC decoding ( ticked) Enable legacy HEVC decoding (ticked).
Removing these two ticks enables VEGAS PRO 18 build 482 to load the mp4 files without problems. Now everything works as it should—what a trap. This is also the answer to why it works in VEGAS PRO 17 without problems.

Thanks for your help. This solved my problem with mp4 file recognition. I was at the point of despair after searching many posts.
