Audio Beeps - ALL Registered versions (Noise Reduction 2.0 problems?)

Chanimal wrote on 10/23/2016, 9:11 PM

I rendered a video and the audio was fine, but if I render the audio (MP3 or Wav) I get beeping every 5 seconds or so. I understand this occurs with unregistered software, but not when it is registered.

I read it may be related to Noise Reduction--and I did try to use Noise Reduction 2.0 (I'm using Windows 10 and Vegas 14) earlier--but it required the serial number (although already installed with Sound Forge 9.0), but then it wouldn't allow me to register with the normal serial number. I tried to uninstall it (so I could re-install), but the uninstall said it was missing a .dll and to contact support).  Of course Magix support is HORRIBLE (when I had a newblue problem I got a response in less than an hour--with the same question to Sony, I got a lame generic response 4 DAYS later--and it only said they would work on it (but Newblue solved it the first shot).  I cannot find a support ticket area for Vegas (only all their stuff)--and nothing for Vegas 14.

Regardless, Noise reduction is not being used, but my audio is beeping, regardless of the format (at least MP3 and Wave).

Any ideas?

I went back in and noticed the noise reduction was still trying to be used.  I deleted the plug in (not from the PC, but the audio track) and the beeping stopped. Still want to get my NR working in Vegas 14.

I had problems with audio beeping at exact intervals when the video files were located on a particular external hard drive (USB). The final attempt that permanently fixed it was to reformat the hard drive with the software included with the hard drive (it is a Buffalo 2TB hard drive). Reformatting fixed the problem. Of course before reformatting, I had to copy all files to another drive. Then after reformatting, I copied the files back.

If I recall, I wouldn't hear beeping if I used a subclip. After a while, I got tired of creating subclips.
