Audio problem or preview -- Vegas PRO 365 .....19>20>21

Some time ago I made an upgrade from Vegas PRO 365 ver 19 to 20. However, I continued to operate only on 19. Because when adding any FX to an Audio track, automatically Vegas 20 crashes. So 20 was useless to me. Yesterday I made an upgrade of 20 to 21 ver. It was a mistake. I can't run 19 anymore :/ and 21 runs terribly. It crashes often, and preview runs 5 times slower than on 19. However, adding FX to the audio track on Vegas 21 doesn't cause crashes like it did on 20. Which is a little funny. On 19 everything worked fine, on 20 the audio doesn't work, on 21 the audio works fine, but the preview works horribly and often crashes.  I wonder how 22 will work? Newer and newer Vegas has more and more problems :/

Any of you know how to deal with the Audio problem in version 20?

What audio device do you have chosen in Vegas Pro 20?

settings in the audio device in Vegas 20 are the same as in versions 19 and 21 - MS Sound Mapper.

@Salah What audio effects are you referring to? Also, you should install the update for Vegas Pro 20 build 411. Other than that, I can't help you as I don't have any problems with version 19, 20, or 21 in this area.

Why can't you run 19 anymore? I kept it around as the old audio engine is beneficial in some ways. Try a reset or reinstall if it stopped working.

21's really refined the VST engine of 20 to the point where it's usable.

In terms of crashes with 21 you haven't given any clues to even start to help you. Hardware? Media? Settings?
