I've had this problem for a while. In the beginning, it would just mean that the audio from the end of a recording would instead play in the beginning of the video. If you skipped to that part of the video and listened to the same audio at the right place, it would go back to normal, but the problem has escalated. For one thing, listening to the the part of the recording where the audio belongs doesn't help anymore. Also, it has started doing it all over the video, so all the audio is completely misplaced. It also does a thing where one specific peice of audio can repeat itself multiple times instead of using the audio that's there in the original recording. I thought it wouldn't be a problem, since I'd already finished editing the video, but the audio errors were still there after rendering. It doesn't matter if I reopen the recording in a new Vegas file, it's still completely wrong. However, when I opened the original recording on my computer without Sony Vegas, it was completely fine. I don't know what to do, and would greatly appreciate help on this matter.
I am using Sony Vegas Pro 15, 64bit on Windows 10 (HP ZBook)
The videos I am trying to work with are mp4.
I have used the program without it going this bad for over a month.
Any help would be appreciated!
