I recently had to re-install Vegas18 from scratch, losing all my preferences and settings. Now, with my "fresh" version I am facing some problems I have not had to deal with before, most notably that automated refreshing is not working any more.

Since I am not sure if this is the correct term, let me give you an example: I import a video file generated by After Effects or a pictured edited with Photoshop into my Vegas project. Now at some point I decide to once again alter / edit said video or picture. Returning to Vegas, those files should automatically "refresh" - be shown in their edited form. However, they don't. The only way to solve this problem is to close the entire project and then open it again, which is kind of tedious.

The same problem occurs when I import Vegas' own veg files (this is called "nesting", I believe) - if I change that nested veg file with a second Vegas installment, it is unfortunately not automatically updated in the main project.

Folks over at the German Vegas Board advise me to once again re-install a new version but maybe somebody over here knows a way around?
