Automatic Panning (continual)

I have a mono guitar track that I wish to automatically pan from left channel to right channel to left channel continuously throughout a song. Is this possible with Vegas 16?

Apply a Pan fX to the audio track.
Turn on Automation
Set the cursor to points on the timeline where you want the sound to be hard left and/or hard right.
Move the Pan Slider to set a key Frame
