Beatleap Style Effects

Hello Fellow Vegas Peeps!

I've been having fun making videos using beatleap on the iphone. I will do a quick vegas edit and then edit the video in beatleap on my phone because the software maps the video to sound and allows me to quickly add several effects beatmapped to a great library of audio. It's not ideal, but the ease of the software makes me love using it.

My question is, what is the fastest way to make a similiar style of video in Vegas. I tried to beat map manually with markers and then add effects at the marker points to each clip, but it's very cumbersome. I can make a great video in a minute with beatleap but trying to do the same thing in Vegas takes me an hour or two. This tells me either there is a "better way" to make this happen in Vegas, I am still inexperienced in working with effects in Vegas after two decades or so, or, my current workflow is the fastest way to go.

I appreciate your thoughts, comments and ideas to make great quick effected clips easily in Vegas.

Do you mean something like these :

If so, you need BCC plugin. It can link audio's beat to any parameter, such as rotate, pan, scale, glow, brightness, saturation and so on.

Without plug-ins, Vegas cannot make videos of this style at present.

Thanks Ian. Yes, this is pretty much what I am looking for. I will look for more info on BCC plugin. I also can't seem to find my activation codes for Boris effects (for doing effects manually) but I have contacted support in regards to that.

After watching a few of these, I think that I may "render my project to a new track" which should make applying two dozen effects throughout the video much easier. I still think this process will be 10X longer in Vegas but the video quality will remain much higher as Beatleap makes lesser quality renders.

Any other suggestions are more than welcome and appreciated!
