Black frames in Vegas Pro 21.0 Build 187

I have recently updated Vegas pro 21.0 to build 187 and whenever I split a video clip I am getting 2-3 black frames at the end of the 1st clip after the split. I had no problems before the update, I have been trying to revert to the previous build with no luck, looks like in the future I will never update builds if I am having no problems with the build I am using.

What are the settings in file io?

If others can replicate it the chances of it being fixed go up.

Is it 5.3K HEVC video? Is experimental unchecked in file io?

Same problem here. The project is a VEGAS Pro 19 one which I imported to 21. mp4 file. I didn't have any problems under V19.

The video file displays correctly for some minutes, but then starts to get more and more, longer and longer "blackout" frames. Strangely, if I move a layer sitting above the media to another layer (still on top), the blackouts vanish.
Media file: 25,000 fps progressive, 1920x1080x32, AVC MOV file, no special effects.

"Windowframe" layer is a simple PNG picture with clear alpha channel.

Machine is a i7 32GB RAM with NVIDIA 1070 8 GB GPU.

Adition: The preview of the video file (NOT the whole preview window) also turns black if I elongerate one of the png layers on top of it, but only during the "pulling". Also, black frames vanish after a restart, but then start to turn up again.

@Roland999 mp4 is a container, what's in it? What created those files? How long is the project?

Maybe start your own thread and provide precise information, especially "B" and "C", from this POST
