[BUG] Events created by trimming project thumbnails are not quantized

NickHope wrote on 12/26/2018, 1:21 AM

The new Project Media Hover Scrubbing feature in VEGAS Pro 16 allows us to select part of a media item by dragging across the thumbnail or by selecting the thumbnail and pressing I and O for the input and output points.

In either case, when the selection is dragged to the timeline, the end of it is not quantized to frames, despite Quantize to Frames being selected and the project frame rate matching the media frame rate.

I tested this with 50i, 60i, 29.97p and 59.94p media. The result is easily seen if the internal preference "Show Unquantized event end" is set to TRUE.

Please could others confirm if this also happens on your systems?

Confirmed here. I tested at 50i (25fps), 60i(29,970 fps), 29.970P(29,970 fps), 23.976P (23,976 fps) and 59.940P (59,940 fps). Always gets a little more than half an incomplete frame at the end.
